i think the original answer was reflecting fact there are not really any recruitment agencies that will support getting a job whilst outside Canada. Of course there are loads of agencies in Canada once landed. A quick Google will show some of the bigger ones like Adecco for example or this sponsored list http://www.recruitmentagencies.ca but none of them are likely to support offshore but who knows really.johnjkjk said:There must be recruitment agencies surely. What about contracting agencies? I would imagine that each province has a preferred major agency and several specialist (industry specific) agencies.
Yes - there are many reputable recruiting agencies for those who can already legally work in Canada (e.g. permanent residents, citizen). However these agencies don't deal with foreign workers. I don't know of any reputable agencies in Canada who deal with foreign workers and the LMIA process.johnjkjk said:There must be recruitment agencies surely. What about contracting agencies? I used to get calls from Canadian recruiting agencies when I was working across the pond. I'll check to find some names.scylla said:Yes - there are many reputable recruiting agencies for those who can already legally work in Canada (e.g. permanent residents, citizen). He's an immigration lawyer - not a recruiter. These are two completely different things. He won't find anyone a job. You have to do this on your own.lilysally said:There is. His name is david Cohen.
