Hello Friends,

I am planning to apply for a post-graduate study, and I would like to know what is the best Province to target.

I need to know that is the best Province in terms of two factors:

the easiest Province to immigrate to after finishing the study
the cheapest in the study and living fees.

Thank you

You'll end up freezing and leaving the country once you're done with studies. Absolutely no jobs there.

this is a pretty open question given you have not shared any background on your education, planned study or any work experience to even get any feedback on a match

There really no cheap international fees when compared with domestic most range 15-18k cdn per year and living is what you want to make of it although obviously the bigger the city the more expensive the costs.

Thank you all,

I have BA in Interpretation, and 6 years of experience. My Express Entry points are now 347. I read that if i studied for 2 years FT, i will have post graduation work permit of at least 2 years. Then i will try to find a job (even outside the provice where i studied in case of Manitoba for example). As i read, this will increase my points and increase my chances for the PNP.

@Bs65:

I have BA in Interpretation. My BA score is 65%, this does not qualify me for a Master study. So, If i need a Master, I will go for a qualifying program (1 year) and a master (2 years). This is an option. But I am thinking in another option, which is studying something new at the level of graduate diploma, or even post-secondary diploma. I am targeting fields like MBA or IT. Do you think this is a good plan?

@ ALL,

Do you think that during the study, i can gain more points and receive an ITA? How can I increase my points even before i finish the study? Please advise me as i feel that with my EE score (347) i am close to receive the ITA, but I need more help to reach at least more 100 points, what should i do?

Hello, Manitoba and Saskatchewan are your options for affordability. Also look into University of Brandon. For the windy weather dress warm. If you don't find work consider moving to a different province but not advisable if you intend to get P.R. There will some type of work after graduation in Winnipeg. You will want to finish your program first so it can help you apply on Express Entry.

Went to school there so I know quite a bit about Manitoba.

All the best.

Thank you very much apa Bomboy.

If i have graduated and gained post-graduation work permit, does this allow me to register a private company? If yes, will the work done in this company be counted as Canadian Experience?

Thank you All,

Away from the affordability, what do you think the best province to give me the PR after graduation? Do you think Ontario is good choice in this regard? (if i had a post secondary diploma, not a master)?

No. You need to be employed under employer/employee relationship to qualify for CEC. Self-employed persons and businesses owners does not qualify.

Thank you very much.

What about Ontario, if I got a diploma of Full-time 2 years, will this give me the nomination of Ontario?

Don't think so. There is no such stream in Ontario nomination programs (unless you're doing PhD.)
