What is the best job online for a staying home mom who has a toddler? Thanks

I've been in Canada for almost 2 years now this coming December but my husband want me to stay home with our toddler instead and do a little bit online buy and sell. I'm wondering if you guys know a more rewarding job online. I have a high speed internet in our apartment. Please let me know if you have an idea I'm a business minded and hardworking person from the Philippines. Thanks

Unfortunately there are very few good online jobs. Most online jobs are actually scams - so please be careful. As a general rule, if you need to pay any money to get the job, then it's a scam.

You might want to try bidding on jobs on sites like oDesk, Elance and Guru. The pay won't be very high for some jobs but there might be someone looking for a virtual personal assistant based in Canada. If you can demonstrate that you are skilled in certain areas, you can increase your wage.

If you ask me, I would suggest you to try doing transcription job, it may be general, legal, medical, interview etc. You need a good typing skills though and good listening skills. There are many companies who offer such type of jobs, pay is from $10/hr to 18/hr depending on ur skills.

Yes it is and for those of us that have many sites online that we use for many different things it is a job we are happy to out source to people that do it full time.. and happy to pay for that work there are many good outsourcing sites you can join to look for work. Google is your friend

The problem with online jobs is that no one is willing to share the info because of the competition. I have been running my online business on and off for close to 10 years , but would never share what I do. As previous poster mentioned, if you are required to pay something, (even five dollars) it is 100% a scam.

Just something to keep in mind when doing online business. My rule is if you don't understand a business model in 5 minutes you will not understand it in 5 years, so be careful with all this online business mumbo jumbo. Having said that some businesses are just too good to be true. If I own McDonalds restaurant why will I hunt for people to become my partner?
