We are a small family, my wife, my new born baby and I
I know that vancouver is great but housing is so expensive, based on your experience is vancouver still the best or there are more suitable cities?

kind regards

You can always check www.mls.ca for home prices and craiglist for rental listings across Canada. Suitability varies from people to people. It's difficult to say which is the best city.

i've been reading up on Victoria, BC lately...it seems beautiful and the weather is nice. i hear it rarely snows but i could be wrong. it's near vancouver also.

my realtives live in missisauga, hamilton and brantford in ontario, they say it's a nice quiet place to live suitable for young children. winters are milder compared to provinces like manitoba or saskatchewan or alberta.

anyway, just giving my "2 cents" here, you can always check out different websites to know more about different places in Canada. i.e. Environment Canada on what the weather is like, job sites to know what jobs are available and real estate listings to know the cost of houses and rentals. i believe each province has its own website which has info on cost of living, etc.

This can be a good resource to check...
