Hi,

Earlier I submitted my PR CEC application without PCC. Now I want to send PCC.

Can anyone please provide CIC link or info/Address where to send the Police Clearance Certificate? I'm going to send PCC along with AOR. Please suggest if I need to write any explanation letter or just courier it?

Thanks,

Hi,
send the original PCC to:

Case Processing Center – Ottawa
219 Laurier Avenue West, 7th floor, section B
Ottawa, Ontario K1A 1L1
Canada

You can write a covering letter along with the PCC and AOR.

Hi,
just write a simple letter (1 or 2 sentences) about sending the PCC now.
Also write all your data like your name, DOB, passport No.UCI,file No. category under which you apply (CEC)

One more question, how can I confirm that CIC has received the PCC, is there any email contact or something where I can confirm that they received the PCC.

Thanks nov1061, appreciate your help

The Canada post tracker tells you when n who it is revived by. That's the confirmation I got when I sent mine.

Hi,
as Octanu mentioned the tracker will tell you that (if you use a courier). You can also send soft copies as ksn4u quoted, but the original PCC is a must. The best way to find out if your PCC has been attached to your file is to order GCMS later.
So everything again.

Send the original PCC to:

Case Processing Center – Ottawa
219 Laurier Avenue West, 7th floor, section B
Ottawa, Ontario K1A 1L1
Canada

Covering letter sample

Subject: Police Certificates

Last name: .................
First name: .................
Date of birth: .................
UCI:.................
Application No.: .................
Type of Application: ................. (Canadian Experience Class – CEC)

To Whom it May Concern,

Enclosed are the XXX and YYY police certificates required for my application for permanent residency. Information for locating my file is listed at the top of this letter.

Sincerely,

Is this the address for correspondence from applications made outside of canada or would you have to send it to the requested embassy?

Hi,
all the applications (from inside as well as from outside of Canada) are processed in CPC Ottawa so the address is for everyone.
In case your file has been transferred to the other office (embassy) CIC will let you know about it and you have to send your documents there.
