this your question is not complete, ur supose to include the type of application u are processing, and which stage did they ask, guess u are filling CIC forms, or MPNP application form
well bank statement is to shows all your transaction for some period, eg 3 months or 6 months, shows all the transactions and show the overall amount u have in bank, so you print it and send it to canada for the immigration process

consideration to your total assets and liabilities, indicate the total amount (in Canadian dollars of
unencumbered, transferable and available funds that you have for settlement in Canada.
