what is meant by directly related work experience?

If you are currently working as manager and you have 1 year of experience as supervisor, will it be considered as directly related experience or not? anyone has any idea? please reply thanks

I got the reply, I went to PNP office and they said if your NOC category will change than the experience will be zero, suppose if you become manager than your supervisor experience will not work, my consultant told me it will work and asked me to get promotion if possible...
