I was just wondering if anyone can explain me what is ghost update and how to see it?

A ghost update is usually when you get an email saying there has been a change to your account. When you log in there is no change. This happens a lot when the officer just goes into view your account. You can't see if as there is actually no change.

Guys, I logged into my profile (status bar - 57 days left) and saw the status Profile Updated. Still, only Biometrics changed into completed. Is it possible that this is a ghost update? Anyone with the same issue? What does it mean?

yes it was for the completion of biometrics and that is what a ghost update it.

it depends.. some get their PPR even without ghost updates.
usually the ghost updates are specifically for biometrics, medical passed/expire. Criminality passed, eligibility passed and security and/or background complete.

Has anyone received a ppr or copr after march from india? I am Dec 2019 AOR and my security and criminality check is valid(raised webform and confirmed) and eligibility is reviewed. But I haven't recieved a PPR still. Just got last email on June 2, 2020 that we are still working on your application and no ADR. I am a PNP candidate. What should I do, I am not sure. VFS offices in India are closed(Is that the reason they are not sending PPR's?)

everything is uncertain in this Pandemic.. seems like your application is almost complete. hang in there! they have started working again now but with limited staff. you will receive it soon
