What is BF'D ? --EXPLAINED >>>

Dear Qorax;
Kindly give some advise by assessing following information:

1) Provincial nomination received on April 2009.

2) send full application with all supporting documents, to Visa Office ISLAMABAD in May 2009.

3) Visa office ISLAMABAD asked for original Education documents- in Jan 2010 that I sent.

4) In Sept 2010, London Visa Office confirmed that file was transferred to London , in June 2010.

5) In Mar 2011 London visa office returned original documents after the custody of almost one year and asked to submit plan for economically establishment in Canada. required document was provided.

6) And now in June 2011 they are asking to submit New updated IMM008 and Schedule 1/ Deceleration Form and Photographs .

Dear Qorax
keeping in view of the above information would you please suggest /estimate any thing about the current status of my case?
And Should I also need to sent other other supporting document with the currently requested, updated forms, the documents were already sent to them with the initial application as I stated above in 1 & 2 ?

With others, after PPR,,,, 'Yes' 99%.

Why does not CHC-ND follow the same thing as other Visa offices? They should also ask Passports only at the final stages. There are many applicants who need to go out of country each week. How long can they stay without passports, their job is at stake. CHC New Delhi should consider the needs of each applicant

My deadline for Meds, Passport, PCC, RPRF, FBI was June 10,'11. I sent everything before June 10 but the FBI cert. was delayed (sent on June 25). They sent me the RPRF receipt dated June 20.

Will appreciate your comments.

As that BF'D passed - your file remained incomplete - they put another, probably 30-60 days hence - then they recd the docs - put it in queue for a review - worked on it, usually as your turn came, might be before the next BF'D - could be that work got completed & u r yet again in a queue for finalization - or something else might be asked. U'd have another BF'D & your security checks must be 'on'.

CHC-ND created a unique process in 2009, to ask for the meds+pps in one go, probably to cut the timeframe. It worked then & ppl got PRVs in a couple of months. However, with the MI2 - things got changed... besides some applicant's security clearances do take some addnl time... thus the current delay.

Please Comment on this. I have found this in OP6.

But according to OP6, BF'd date is actually when the visa officer will look at the file
again i.e the processing will begin on that day again. Until then, the file will be held up.

I got the BF'D date on 05-05-2011. it has been more than 2 months now, but no replies from VO.

My BFD is May 10, 2011. I checked my CAIPS, the BFD date was two months ago!!! there's no new BFD.

On my CAIPS notes it says:

Paper File sent to DS BF'D to KH on 10-05-2011

And May was TWO months ago!
