What is AOR and SA

AOR stands for Acknowledgement of receipt which is basically when u file your application with CIC after a while u will receive a letter from CIC then they will give u your UCI number then through that you can login in cic.gc.ca to check updates on your file and also depend on time frame from your visa office also they will send u or your spouse a second AOR.

And I am not sure what is SA.

SA means you have been approved for sponsorship. It's sponsorship approval after which the application is sent to the foreign Visa office for part 2 of the process

when you receive an email from IRCC by which they gave you the UCI and application no. is that the AOR already? because i doesn't say anything about AOR.

Yes, that is AOR1 that you received.

Hi There,
My wife is a Canadian PR card holder and she is sponsoring my dependant PR. I landed in Canada on May 25th 2018.

Last week, I have submitted the Open WOrk Permit Visa application along with the Dependant PR through IRCC/CIC website. Just curious to know how much time it would take to get the Open Work Permit Visa so that I could start working. IRCC website shows around 2 months but, i have heard people getting it in 4-5 weeks.

Could you also please throw more light on dependant PR processing time. In IRCC website it shows 12 months!

Biometric Fees - April 9, 2019
AOR - April 17, 2019
SA - 29th April
BIO FEE Instruction - May 7th
My wife has gone through the Fingerprinting and photo taking back home in India on 2019-05-11 but ever since then I haven't heard anything back from CIC. When I use the online application tracker it just says in progress. I am not sure why is it taking so long for them to send medical request. Can anyone help me answer my query I am concerned
