What is a POF?

Hi guys, this is a quote from a spreadsheeet I'm following:

FORMS REQUIRED FOR THE 'LANDING':
Even if you stay ONLY for a day at Canada, you will need the following:

1. Passport with stamped Visa. -off course
2. COPR (IMM 5292B)
3. POF. [for cases "without" AEO & family class] (details below)
4. Passport size photos. -2 or 3 for PRC (may not be needed, but good to have)
5. PR Card Application (IMM 5444E). -carry it filled pre-printed, for ease
6. Goods to Follow List (Form B4 / B4A). -carry it filled pre-printed, for ease
7. Goods Accompanying List. -as above, a table of things u r carrying on person (value & Totaled)
Forms required later
8. SIN Card Apps Form (NAS 2120). -Not Needed at the A/port [later at Services Canada]
9. Kids Immunization Record. -Not Needed at the A/port [later for School Admission]
10. If you are Driving your Car. -read below

I have 3 questions:

1. What is a POF? It's not listed on the Acronym's tab. I searched google and the forum, but nothing!!

2. How detailed should the Goods Accompanying list be? Eg. Do I put "Birth Certificate, Marriage document" OR just "Important Documents"

3. If everything is below $10,000, do we still need to put a value on each item? It will be very tedious work to determine the value of each item.

POF = Proof of funds. No you don't have to list your documents. The B4 is for actual goods, like if you bring over your toaster. You can just estimate the price based on used value. Just be reasonable. I think it means proof of funds but dont quote me.

some people put very detailed entry goods, others put them into sections. i dont think important documents count of things you are importing.

copy of bank statments or income. if you are supporting her a signed letter from you with proof of your funds will be ok.

does she have copr yet? or is she coming to canada to wait out the visa process?

She already got her passport with visa stamp. She received the COPR when she collected her passport.

ok, then she will travel to canada and just say that you are supporting her and then you show proof of funds. use your t4 and pay stubs but also take a print out of your bank account showing funds. also rpoof of employment helps.

Keep in mind there is no actual "proof of funds" requirement upon landing for spousal, like there is for other immigration streams. If they had concerns about money they likely would have asked for more proof during the application process. However it doesn't hurt if she brings her financial documents just in case.
