What if the PR application goes wrong, what will happen for an accepted protected person?

Hi there,

I already got portal 2 email and submitted the address and photo on portal account.
However, I heard that people will get the ECoPR next.
So far, I have not yet get the ECoPR.

I have a few questions:
1. As a single protected person who does not apply PR with any depend or family member. Will I still expect to get ECoPR?
2. If the PR application goes wrong, will I need to leave Canada or just renew the work permit again to live in Canada?
Thank you for your time.

I dont know what could go wrong. Since it says once you are approved they send portal 2 email. Ecopr is taking a while for some people.

i didnt understand first question.
but for second question you have notice of decision. This means you maybe able to get pr if you follow procedures. You can reapply pr if they rejected.

I see what you mean. Thank you.
For the first question I finally learn that eCOPR stand for “Electronic Confirmation of Permanent Residence“
