What if I receive a COPR while in another country?

I'm an EE CEC applicant, and my application is under processing (just done Biometric).
I have a valid work permit that expires next year.

I have to visit my family as my father is in a condition, so I applied for a leave of absence at work.

Here is my question:
What if I receive a COPR while in another country?
Can I come back to Canada based on my Work Permit?
Do I have to let IRCC know before I leave?

What if I receive a COPR while in another country?
They won't issue you the copr as you have let them know about your current location when they send you the confirmation for portal.

Can I come back to Canada based on my Work Permit?
Yes - TRV

Do I have to let IRCC know before I leave?
No Need to inform them. Let them know once they contact you for portal and ecopr
