What if I lost my LMIA and WP

Posting for a friend...

My friend has a closed work permit with a LMIA. He sponsored his wife with an OWP a few months after he arrived in Canada.

The question is, will the wife lose her OWP if my friend loses his LMIA and/or change jobs making him get a new WP (closed or open depending on what he can find)?

I am unable to find any documentation on this, so I hope someone can share their knowledge/experience.

Is there any way to obtain a duplicate LMIA? The original document is with the agent.
