In the Netherlands we have 'animals to fly', and they only fly with Luft Hansa. I have to get in touch with them about the whole thing. Normally I fly with KLM because they have direct flights to Canada Montreal, but when I fly with my parrot I have to go with Luft Hansa and change planes in Frankfurt.

I always have a bit pain in my ears with flying, specially with landing and taking off..I wonder about if my parrot would have troubles with that though.

I used to have this problem ,especially when descending to land but if I have a bottle of water which I take regular sips from during the descent I have no problems at all. It's because of the swallowing action relieving the pressure in the ears. Some people suck a sweet but I find the drinking works better.
