What happens to work permit after PPR?

Hi,

I recently got my PPR request and yet to send the passport.

My passport was also recently stamped with Canadian closed work permit for ICT.

Questions:
1. If I send for stamping, will the closed WP get cancelled/void?
2. What happens when I go to Canada if WP is still valid. I have to do formal landing? or enter via closed WP?

I cannot inform in company at present about PR. Any suggestions?

Hi,
visa officers are usually collecting the wok permits during the landing procedure (your work permit is going to be canceled by landing).
It really doesn't matter what kind of work permit (open or closed) you have.

it doesn't matter. The WP is always cancelled by landing procedure.
