Exactly? No.Can anyone tell me what exactly happens in BGC?
Exactly? No.
The sort of thing would be checking your name against international 'watch' lists (terrorists etc.). If you or any of your contacts are known or suspected associates, checking criminal files or people with names the same as your etc.
Think GCHQ, 'the 'five eyes' etc.
To my knowledge, background checks is the last step before decision made. I would guess that if they had doubts about your relationship, they would have sent you a query before this last step.Does it mean that i passed the test for genuine relationship.. after that they start BGC?
Bgc is part of eligibility , correct? To my knowledge, background checks is the last step before decision made. I would guess that if they had doubts about your relationship, they would have sent you a query before this last step.
Not to my knowledge. It is a step in it's own right AIUIBgc is part of eligibility , correct?

Does background check process criminality and security? To my knowledge, background checks is the last step before decision made. I would guess that if they had doubts about your relationship, they would have sent you a query before this last step.
Not certain about criminality, but security, yes, for sure! If they run a 'background check' via GCHQ / NSA or whatever, their databases would check and flag if you were an internationally known and wanted criminal (think Interpol) - it would be pretty remiss and incredible if they did not do this (or indeed if your name and DOB were a close enough match to a known serious criminal or wanted person). You will understand that any country considering allowing you to become a permanent resident has a duty to make sure you are not a 'bad guy'!Does background check process criminality and security?
