What happens if I wait to receive passport request before I add newborn to my application

please I just recently received PPR an d was asked to update family configuration. My daughter was born while Application was in process even tho we indicated I was pregnant while applying. My hubby who is a citizen insisted we wait till we are told to do so before updating it, now we just got told in the PPR letter. My daughter is a citizen and we’ve applied for proof of citizenship and certificate. Please how do we fill the forms, should we fill the dependent form under IMM 0008 or just fill only the additional family information as indicated in one post I read here. Also the column where it was asked “in addition to you, how many people are in this application, does it remain as 1 or change to 2. Also will this delay my PPR? Kindly note that my daughter is a citizen and not eligible to be sponsored that’s why we waited till now to add her

There was no reason to wait. When you send your passport, just include an explanation letter, a copy of the birth certificate and proof of the Certificate of Citizenship app.
