What happens if I receive PPR while not in Canad (inland applicant)?

Hi, I am from a country which is visa-exempt to Canada. So normally I don't need a visa to enter Canada.

First, will CIC ask me to send them my passport when I recevice PPR?
And then what if I receive PPR while I am traveling outside of Canada? What action will be required from me and how much time will I be given to do that?

No, you'll have to send a photocopy of your passport.

Update your address if you'll be staying outside of Canada for quite some time.

I am going to visit my family for a month or so, not staying for a long time. So if during my stay outside of Canada I receive PPR, I will notice it in my profile/email and I can send copy of my passport and I will be ok?

Do you also know what will happen after that, will I receive any document back from CIC by mail?

by the way, CIC already has copies of our passports, but they still will request that? and I will have to send it by mail or I can just upload it into my profile?

YES, they will ask you to submit the passpost for stamping this will take 2-9 weeks if you are lucky you will get it in a week.
If you cannot submit the passport with in 30 days or if you are outside country
best way to do so is email at "CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca" add the subject line with Application # UCI: # - regarding passport submission.

Add these informtions on the email
Full Name:
Date Of Birth:
UCI:
Application:

and write the request either you can submitt the passport where you or ask for the extended time to submit.

You will get an automated email response saying we will email in 20 workings days dont worry about that with in 1 or 2 days you will recieve an update.
