What happens if I flagpole for COPR instead of waiting to hear back for an interview?

I emailed the address to get an appointment for an inland CoPR landing. I have not heard back yet and have a few trips coming up outside of Canada. Will it be an issue if I end up being able to land by POE upon re-entry before I get an appointment for an inland interview?

Do actually have your COPR document? If so, you can "land" at a POE.

Yep, I have CoPR docs in hand. Was curious what would happen if I land at a POE and then IRCC emails me the next day with an inland appointment time. Reading on here it says that appointments cannot be changed unless in emergency situations.
