If I understand you correctly, and based on the terminology you use, I think you are enrolled in a very well known University in Quebec. I recently graduated from the same University. To my knowledge, you can still enroll to courses after the add/drop date has expired by paying a penalty. You could try two things: One, if your Program coordinator is not responding, meet your Program Director and explain your situation to him. Second, short list the courses you want to take and meet their Instructors and tell then you want in. They can handle the enrolment process with your Program coordinator from the administrative end, sparing you the trouble.
One thing is for certain, if you do not maintain uninterrupted full-time status as a Student, your PGWP application will most likely be denied. It’s that serious. So fight tooth and nail right now.

Hi guys, I'm panicking here trying to figure out what would happen to my status as an international student. I'm taking 3 courses because I want to go at my pace and not go crazy. I mistook the dates between swapping courses and dropping courses so I feel like I've made a grave mistake. My university has a visual schedule builder and it doesn't give warning of the dates; so when I try swapping the courses, it dropped my course and didn't register the course I wanted. Now I'm stuck with only 2 courses for this semester and I'm very afraid it's gonna harm my status.
I want to know what happens to my status now and in the future. If anyone has any solutions please let me know.
Thank you.
