What happens during Background Check IP1 and IP2?

Hey...
Can you just tell me, how much time it took for you to receive PRR ?

AOR Date: May 15th
Medical passed: 27th june and got an email on 28th that my application has been updated, check ur application status.
BG Status on 28th June: 'Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.' from NA.
BG Status on 29th June: 'Not applicable' and no updates since then....

Could anyone of you please tell me at which stage I am currently?

Hi,
I received AOR in NOvember and submitted all docs. Got reply from CIC that they need a Police clearance certificate,whcih I submitted last week.
Which stage am I in currently? IP1 or IP2?
I can't check my account as it's ebing handled by an immigration agent.

Your application is indeed in IP2 stage.

IP1 --> Whether all documents asked were send ?? If yes - IP1 / R10 passed
IP2 --> Whether all sent documents make you eligible ?? If Yes - IP2 /A11.1 passed -- this is where content of your documents is evaluated

There's no fixed time for PPR , but my guess would be 10-20 days for PPR from IP2. All the best to you man !!!

You are in IP2. If you dont get selected for Security Screening, you should expect to receive PPR in weeks, usually not more than 2 months... Good Luck!

No one can say for sure. However, I think your application is progressing smoothly. I noticed that those who stay longer on IP1 tend to spend less time on IP2 (sometimes PPR mail comes within the same day of IP2)

I received my PPR within 24 hrs of IP2 after spending 55 days on IP1.
