We have been asked to submit pics and photocopies to Ottawa.
Once they have those, does the COPR and the Visa come all at once or completely seperate?

From what I have seen you can land with just the COPR but do they mail the visa to the applicants home address or the canadian address?

Thanks ahead of time for looking at this.

is the applicant visa exempt? if so, then only a copy of the passport is required, and the "visa" you'll receive is the COPR document.

If the applicant requires a visa, the "visa" is a counterfoil stamp that is inserted in the passport, it is not a separate document. The counterfoiled passport will be returned with the COPR document.

the items are sent to the applicant to the address specified by the applicant when responding to the Passport request. Usually, the passport request letter suggests sending a self addressed, pre-paid envelope to send everything back in. was that not the case in this situation?

A person needs the COPR and passport to land. again, if the person requires a visa, the "visa" will be put in the passport by IRCC. it is not a separate document.

thank you!
We are exempt as they only requested photocopies (USA). Yes they definitely asked for a prepaid envelope but I wasn't sure if we should send to Canada address or USA. but now I know LOL! thank you so much for replying ;D

send it to where ever the applicant is. if they are in the us, send there. if they are in canada, send it there. it doesn't matter, as long as the applicant gets it!
