What happens after ITA, especially Background check ?

Hi Everyone,

Few days ago in one of the threads I have seen some one post a detailed message on what happens after ITA, mentioned how a candidate profile is checked.

I am wondering to know if any one can post that detailed info for the reference of others and me, as my current status moved to BG in progress.

I really want to know the process in assessing some ones document and what all the steps that they follow.

And what is the rate of rejection post Medical Passed ? where does majority of the applications gets rejected pre or post medical assessment.

Please post the info.

BG In Progress means the Bg Check is over and they have recd all information they wanted from diff. agencies. Now they are reviewing the results. Once it is done it will become not applicable and final decision will take place.

But its only been 3 weeks since I submitted my application.

Do you think they have received all my background info with in just 3 weeks ?

and what are the chances of rejection in this stage ?

They are unlikely to have even looked at your application yet. What does your status say?

Medical Passed om march 24th and same day BG changed to In progress.

At landing you could land in Quebec, or show up with an extra child, or commit a crime before you land...

Do you know how they asses our profile , I mean post ITA there are some steps that they follow assessing ones application.

Some one here on this forum posted them in one of the threads but do not remember where
