What happens after I apply ?

I applied for fsw on July 26, 2013 and they recieved on August 1, 2013. The cap reaches 278 as of today. I am worried because i have not heard anything. Any possible situation ? >:(j
 
Hi fafadibo,
what NOC you have applied as 278 is for NOC 1112 and the status is as per me is of 21st May
sorry but 1st august the cap must be filled

btw their processing time is about 50-70 days and after that only you will hear form them.

You have misunderstood what that number means.

CIC is still working on applications received in May. The 278 only reflects the applications they have opened and determined to be complete (not all applications received). You have no chance of making the cap unfortunately. Your application will be returned to you unprocessed.

Hi, just want to know if that 50-70 days means from the date Intake in Nova Scotia received the FSW application I should expect to recieve news if I am accepted (with Positive Reply)? I applied for noc 2174 and was received 12 July '13.. Today the cap is 233, do you think I have chance to be included for the review and chance to be within that 233 or in the balance of 300? Thanks a lot...

Yes 50-70 days from the time NS received your application.

Unfortunately I don't think there's any chance your application has made the cap. CIC is still working on May applications and the 233 count reflects the applications they have opened (i.e. May applications only). This means the cap will be reached well before July (likely in early June).

yes the day is form your file reached at nova scotia
currently they are charging payment of 3rd june applicant (resourse: as per other forum)

the 233 figure what I assume is of 21st may date status, so for you balance is 67 form 21st may to your file reached date

Hi aside from FSW, would you mind helping me know what are the other options of migrating to (any province) in Canada where my present documents can be reused? Thanks a lot.
