What factors affect refusal of an application?

Hi, I wanted to know that if I have received offer letter(unconditional) from college by giving my academic info, and I apply my application, can the embassy reject my application based on my academic score(it is average,not too low)?

So Sop is important
You have to state how you will not struggle in canada if you have average grades
You are a genuine student with the motive of studying and not staying there illegally

Ok i have put CAIPS request, and it takes almost 4 weeks so then only i will know the exact reason why i was refused.
