If I need one more fall 2021 semester to complete my studies but I can only graduate in spring 2022, would the end date be the last day of fall classes or the convocation date? Will I be able to extend my study permit till spring 2022 even though I'll only be registered in classes for one semester? Can I explain this situation in a letter or explanation or should I only be extending my study permit for one semester?

It will be last day of study not convocation date. So will you be attending class in winter to apply for extension? Or you want to extend simply because your SP expires before convocation day and you want to remain in Canada?
My study permit expires this summer. I need one more term to finish but at our uni you can only have the convocation in the spring so I was wondering if I'd be able to stay till june even though my classes will end in december. I now understand what the end date means and that I can only stay till the last day of study +90 days.
