My wife had done B.ed (Science subjects) and M.ed (Guidance and Counselling) both are a one-year program. We want to apply under the NOC 4214 early childhood educator, but this NOC requires certification. I want to know if this education will be enough to get Level 2 or 3 ECE certification either from Saskatchewan or Alberta. Below are the subjects covered under M.ed:
1. Human Development and adjustment
2. Exceptional children
3. Career development
4. Research methods and statistics
5. Guidance and counseling
If anyone had gotten the certification with this education, please let me know. I would appreciate any help.
