Please advise what the below entails? Can my wife apply for a work / ohip?

Reminder Your undertaking is an unconditional promise of support
The undertaking you signed is an unconditional promise to financially support and provide basic
requirements for your sponsored relative(s). This undertaking is not broken by such changes as the
granting of Canadian citizenship, divorce, separation, relationship breakdown, moving to another
province, or a change in your financial situation. Furthermore, it cannot be cancelled once a final
decision has been made on their APR.
ur obligations as a sponsor begin as soon as your
sponsored relative and, if applicable, their accompanying family members become permanent
residents of Canada. If your family member entered Canada on a temporary resident permit following
an APR, your obligation will begin on the date of that entry to Canada. Your obligations for your
family member will end as follows:
Spouses, common-law partners 3 years from the date on which permanent
resident status is granted.
Dependent children of spouses or common-law
partners, who are less than 19 years of age on
the date permanent resident status is granted.

Congratulations! That is the SA (Sponsor Approval) letter, but...it doesn't mean that your wife can now apply for OHIP, but...if she submitted an Inland application, she can send in an Open work Permit application (which she could/should have done with the Inland application).

If she submitted an Outland application, she's not eligible for the OWP.

Actually, after my previous post I looked at your other posts. Since your wife did submit an Inland application, but has since lost her status, she will not qualify for the OWP until she receives her approval letter (AIP).

If she had included the OWP with her Inland application, she would have had `Implied Status' and would have qualified for the OWP already.

Too bad. :(

And...you said in a previous post that you were already approved as her sponsor back in May, so...did CIC send you the same SA letter again?!
