WHAT DOES THIS FROM CIC MEAN?

I recieved an email from cic visa section stating my UIC no. and Application no. with an attachment saying ur application to work or study in canada has been approved. IS THIS THE LETTER OF INTRODUCTION? as iv not appeared for medical yet, i dont understand. Also, i applied thru VFS and the tracker says passport under processing. Iv also not recieved any call or email from vfs yet. whats going on?


Any help will be aprpeciated urgent pls. Thanks.

when did u apply and did they gave you any e-mail/call that they have received your application?

This means your Visa is approved. Congrats! Medical can be waived off on CHC's discretion.

Your case is a perfect example for all the people worried over here.
I believe you applied with following(correct me if i'm wrong):

1. No College fees paid.
2. No GIC.
3. Applied in general category.

Awesome!! Your passport would be dispatched soon!!

Yes, id never thought that with all those gic, fee payment and general application issues Id read here things would be this amazing. haha seems like uv an idea of my various posts id made in a tensed frenzy.....Thank u for the quick response too! btw, will vfs call me for the passport themselves?

Btw, i would really like to know what made you medical exempt. Could you take time to check and see if you fit in any of these categories:

hwy u said they can exempt at their discretion right? or maybe cus i visited a few months back they exempted and cus iv visited canada very often past few years. Do they ask for medical result at the POE?
