I received aip on 14 August. on 30 Oct, ircc requested me proof of fee payement which is reflected my recent LOA. On 16 November i got my GCMS notesm, which shows "recommended interview" in eligibility assessment. Now im confused with all this.

If my eligibility has already been checked in stage 1, why they again want to re-asses it? Does this indicates that i'm bound to get refusal in the near future.

My GCMS also shows recommend interview in eligibility assessment. I applied on 15th August for Jan intake, no AIP

It's not a sign of refusal at all. It just means that case processing agent requesting a senior VO to look in to the case and recommend pass/refuse based on his/her assessment. I've seen cases where Recommend Interview changed to Recommend Pass / Passed.

This. It's not a refusal.

However, AIP usually means passed or recommended pass at the least

Over five people told me that it is a sign of refusal, one even said 99% it is cuz he also got recommend interview and later was refused. So I'm now panic since I have been stuck on Eligibility review for three months now. Got two ghost updates this month. So far no updates..

How about this, my initial SP was recommend interview, because officers had a hard time reading one supporting doc, but later another one got it and then status changed to no interview.

Your file may be different in a million ways when compared to others. Just coz someone said it's 99% refusal, doesn't mean it will be the same for you.
Keep calm and wait for them to process it.

What is "another one" that you were referring to? And may I ask after how long did it take from your recommend interview to no interview ?

"Another one" => Another officer (most likely senior). No timeline for now due to Covid.

5 people out of the 100’s of thousands who apply is not a particularly reliable statistic.

Maybe. But one told me that her agent said it is a bad signal and that she( the agent) has never seen anyone is approved from the recommend interview. Well, at least we have many on this forum, which gave me the light in the dark

The recommend interview was created on 22nd August and I got two ghost updates this month. Hope it was the senior reviewing my file and waived the interview.

People get approved from Recommend interview. I'm more shocked that OP received AIP without passed or recommended pass
