Hi,
Why did you wait so long? The onus was on you to update the NDVO with this information in a timely manner.

Write a cover letter explaining your situation, complete a new version of the generic application form that contains details of your dependants as well as renewed family information form / background declaraion forms. Provide a notarized photocopy + translation + translator's affidavit of your marriage certificate. And send it all to NDVO.

Your wife will be included in the family class and will have to undergo the medical examination no matter if she has intention to acoompany you or not.

my consultancy asked me to wait till I got my medicals, now they are asking me to pay another 25000 to process for my wife too. Also do I need to send proof of fund, wife passport, PCC etc ?

Probably your consultancy wants you to finish the background check first before you inform lvo of your change of marital status but they should not collect so much fees as they what need what to only submit your additional docs.

Hi Dinesh

I got married in December and received my PER last week. I sent my documents today, to add my spouse. Some consultants do charge money to add your dependent however not sure how much your consultant should be charging though...My consultant in Canada charged me CAD500 to add my spouse. You will have to send passport copies, updated bank statements, PCC, marriage cert, birth cert.... Hope this helps.
