What documents that you submitted had to be notarized?

Hi all,

I am in Taiwan and I have my wife's birth certificate notarized. What are some documents that need to be notarized?
My savings account? My passport and her passport? Our marriage certificate (which has been stamped by the issuing authority in English)?
Our marriage photos?

It's kinda getting on my nerves as I have almost all docs ready but not so sure if they meet the requirements...

Thanks.

Have you read the instructions? And the country specific requirements.

Start with: which docs are not in English to start with. Docs in English - photocopy is fine.

Official docs - certified copy and Certified translation if not in English.

Others - chats, bank account info - Certified translation.

Photos - umm, nothing to translate.

Note i haven't checked country specific for Taiwan.

And you can see general - no automatic need to get things notarized. Mainly translations of official docs need certified (IE notarized) copy.

i did. But I am kinda paranoid because I am not sure what would happen if the docs dont meet their requirement. I dont want to stay apart from my wife for too long.
