What documents are needed to apply for a permanent resident visa?

If we approve your application, we will issue you a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) and, if you are from a country that requires visas, a permanent resident visa.

Could those who received their visa tell us what are exactly the documents needed to obtain your visa after you submit your application/documents for PR following your ITA?

Job reference letters, proof of funds, proof of relationships, proof of education... what do you expect? It varies from applicant to applicant. Have you created an Express Entry profile yet?

If I understand your question correctly, you don't need to obtain any additional documents after you submit your application for PR, unless explicitly asked by IRCC.

I created a profile and also submitted my PR application after I received my ITA. But my question is after this PR application gets approved they will issue a COPR and permanent resident visa which I need to obtain from a local Canadian embassy. Is it just a matter of picking up the visa or there is "another" PR application to obtain this visa to be able to land in Canada?

I know the question sounds weird but want to double check!

Once your PR application would be approved, you will be requested to submit your passport and they will issue you an immigrant VISA. You don't need to submit another application!
