I don't mean to question your knowledge and expertise, but just to be safe, is there any proof (e.g. CIC website source) to support that its okay to not mention your full work history ? Last thing I want is a legal issue with CIC because of not disclosing my full work history ..

Also, where is this Personal History section ? I don't see it on my EE profile anywhere.

Lastly, today is a Friday and draws are normally done on Fridays. In light of this, is it 'safe' to update my EE profile now and remove this work history ? I mean, CIC might be conducting a draw right now as I do the change, which might cause some technical glitch or something :/
Personal history section appears only after you get your ITA. You can remove this work experience now or after your ITA provided it makes no material difference to your application in terms of CRS points and/or program eligibility.

In your case, it would make no difference to your CRS points because, even without this experience, you have 3+ years of experience. Also, this experience is in a different NOC altogether than your later-day NOC (primary NOC) so it makes no difference to your program eligibility either.

Your full work history is irrelevant to CIC for the simple reason that CRS score maxes out at 3 years (you get nothing for showcasing any further experience) and program eligibility maxes out at 6 years of experience in the same NOC (you get nothing for showcasing any further experience). It is only a logical extension of that argument that CIC doesn't need a full disclosure of your entire work experience in work history.

Asivad, thanks abundantly for your help man .. !

Just want to confirm something else too: Contrary to what you said earlier, I do NOT have 6 years of experience in my current NOC. I left that different NOC job 6-7 years ago, that's true, but from 2009 to 2011 I was studying abroad, and then from 2011 till 2014 I was working at a job which relates to my current NOC. Since August 2014, I'm been *willingly* unemployed because of some domestic issues.

Here's a breakdown of my total work history:

May 2008 ~ July 2008: Worked as a 'Design Engineer' - NOC Code: 2173
July 2008 ~ June 2009: Worked as a 'Field Engineer' - NOC Code: 2147 --- This is the job relating to that different NOC Code which you've suggested to remove
22 August 2011 ~ 15 August 2014 (exactly one week less than exactly 3 years): Worked as 'Senior Software Engineer' & 'Principal Software Engineer' - NOC Code: 2173

Anyways, so if I remove my second job, my work history then comprises of the following two jobs:

May 2008 ~ July 2008: Worked as a 'Design Engineer' - NOC Code: 2173
<Removed>
22 August 2011 ~ 15 August 2014 (exactly one week less than exactly 3 years): Worked as 'Senior Software Engineer' & 'Principal Software Engineer' - NOC Code: 2173

This technically totals to more than 3 years combined within my primary NOC (2173), so I assume I can get the max points for 3+ years of NON-Canadian Experience.

So in light of this new info (job in the middle being removed, while jobs prior and after it remain, as they relate to my primary NOC), do you still suggest that I remove the middle job from my work history ? I mean CIC might be puzzled as to why my NOC is constantly changing .. :/

CIC isn't a potential employer to worry about your changing NOCs. So that won't be a problem.

In your case, NOC 2173 jobs would ensure you have 3+ years of experience which gets you a shot at the highest CRS score for foreign worn experience. In addition, you have less than 4 years experience in this NOC that gives you 11 points on the FSW grid. If these 11 points help you get at least 67/100, feel free to remove that middle job of NOC 2147.

Hope that clarifies. All the best!

What do you mean by 67/100, and '11 points' ? Is that some other scale that I also have to pass ? I thought that as long as you receive an ITA and are able to provide all the correct documents to backup your EE profile claims, you're confirmed a PR. Is that not the case ? :(

Yes. That scale is a prerequisite for EE eligibility. If you've already got an ITA, it appears that you are eligible on that scale.

Re-check your eligibility here ---> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp

Give yourself only 11 points under Experience and check if you still hit at least 67/100.

Okay, I just checked and it seems I cross 67 .. I have 70 points. So I guess I'll remove my second job description then.

On a side note, is there any reliable FSW points calculator website that I can also use to verify that I've correctly calculated 70/100 ?

That is the most reliable calculator. If you want to double-check, outline your calculations here and we can confirm those.

Okay, I'll confirm here then:

For Language, I gave myself 24 points because I recently took IELTS and scored this: Listening: 8.0, Reading: 8.5, Writing: 7.0, Speaking: 7.5
For Education, I gave myself 23 points because I have a Masters degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from a US university, and WES has assessed as equivalent to a Canadian 2 years Masters degree
For Experience, I gave myself 11 points because of my just over 3 years of experience within NOC Code 2173
For Age, I gave myself 12 points as I'm currently 29 years old.

This totals to: 70

Correct ?
