I have my citizenship exam scheduled in a couple of weeks and the letter from CIC says bring the original copy of the documents in the checklist. There is not many documents asked in the checklist though. Any suggestion on the documents to take? Should I also take a translation of all the stamps in my passports?

Has anyone received a separated paper titled "IMPORTANT INFORMATION" with the official notice?

The official notice does not list translation of passport, but this separated paper which appears to be very unofficial and does not have any official logo and form number has listed translation of passport.

I didn't receive it and I was asked for stamps translations which delayed my application by at least three weeks according to my ECAS report.
If you have stamps in a foreign language (anything other than French or English) I suggest you have them translated and take the notarized translation with you to your test.

Completely agree on the above.

I had a similar experience and got delayed due to lack of translated stamps.

I've received a similar letter but it doesn't have the last item about the 'translated stamps'!! So should I translate the stamps in this case?

I assume you only need the stamps translated from all the passports within the six year period of your application? I have also an older passport which was the passport I used for my immigration to Canada, which covers the period before (!) the last six years. Those stamps do not need to get translated?
