My husband was sent back to Mexico after we were married, in Canada, and we have not received any news. He was told that he had to leave the country and that the only way he could come back was to do an ARC. We have finished all the sponsorship paperwork and have even payed the ARC fee. When we try to inquire as to what is happening with his case we are told that there is no specific time frame and they also try to say that he tried to enter the country illegally. This is not true. We owe no debt to the government because we paid for his flight to leave. I am expecting our first child November 10, 2009 and they tell us that they [embassy in Mexico] have no idea when he will be able to come. I am so worried that he will not be here for the birth of our daughter, but I dont know what else we can do. He has been out of the country since May 1 of 2008 and our application for family class sponsorship was received in around July 14th, 2007. Does anyone know how we could ppossibly get him here in time to see the birth of our child or be here soon enough to be in her life? Because we cannot afford for me to keep travelling to Mexico to see him. Thank you anything helps.
