Hello Everyone!

I am new here, but I could not find an answer for my situation yet....


I am 26,single hungarian resident, BA graduated from Social Pedagogy. Currently working in Hungary.
During the summer of 2015 and 2016 I was working in a canadian summer camp as kitchen staff. I fell in love with Canada, and I am trying to find a temporary/permanent job there.
I was wondering about the Live in Caregiver program, since I am a Social pedagogue I worked with children before. I am not sur eif my BA degree can qualify to this program? Or I must have a special caregiver training/ 1 year paid work experience?

My IELTS exam in General Training is in progress, so I am also looking for job opportunities and express entry program too.

I really would like to experience more of the Canadian life, but not only through this summer camp placement. You can understand, that it is not so pleasing to I work 3 months in Canada, then returning to my homeland and looking for a temporary job until next summer....

I have work experience as: Human Resources Mentor (1,5 years) , Receptionist, Acquisition Assistant, Bartender,Animator, Kitchen Staff.
Most important is that I am willing to work in any field, if the employer provides LMIA, unfortunately I only got offers to work illegally under visitor visa.

To qualify for a work permit as a live in caregiver, you either need one full year of paid work experience in the field or at least six months of full time training. The degree you have is academic and won't meet the training requirements. Based on the information you have provided, you unfortunately don't meet the requirements to obtain a work permit as a caregiver. You would either need to take a six month full time training program in the field or get the full year of work experience.

As long as you have at least one year of full time work experience, you should be able to submit a profile under Express Entry. Your chances of being selected will depend on how many points you have. As of now, only those with around 470+ points are being selected.
