What can I do with AOR? BOWP?

Yes, you can use the Express Entry AOR for BOWP extension - and ours was approved quite recently.
We had applied for a BOWP in February based on an AOR for an application sent in 2014. That file was returned in February (due to being incomplete) and we had no option except wait for Express Entry scores to come down
We didn't withdraw our work permit application as we had a lot of days left for processing and were hoping to get selected for Express Entry and update this application with a new AOR. We received an AOR a few days ago for express entry as well (ITA for March 20th draw) and we updated our BOWP application. Our PGWP were expiring last week and our new permit got approved a day before they expired!

My work permit will expiering on May 18, my friend told me to apply by mail around May 16. Until CIC make result, I may have 2 to 3 months to legally work and wait the BOWP and EE result. She said that the safe way for me. What do you think?

phrixus: good idea, I would recommend sending in a mail application to buy more time as well - however, be prepared if you are not selected until then, there is a chance your application will be rejected. Alos, it takes time for applications to reach CIC, to be safe, apply a week before your current permit expires!
