What are the next steps ?How long will it take for entire process?

Hi,

I have sent my citizenship application 2 days back and would like to know what are the next steps .I am based in Surrey ,BC .
Please let me know how long it might take from Vancouver office .

I know from online it says 25 months.But from info i have so far 44 million $ funding is being provided to CIC for next 2 years to reduce the back log.

When can we expect the speeding of processing it is now Nov 2013. I have not travelled to Home country and been to USA only on visit for 11 days .So expecting that there are least chances of RQ.

But any latest feedback from twitter posts and other sources would be helpful......When are the next steps and when can we expect speedy process?

you pass the knowledge-of-Canada test (citizenship test);
you do not need a hearing with a citizenship judge; and

From which city are you. I am from Windsor Ontario and I submitted my citizenship application in April 2013 and my Oath is in November.

Windsor Ontario is pretty fast.

Submitted my application, got RQ.....almost three years nothing yet. From Vancouver
