Just curious,

I've read that a lot of Canadian American Couples rarely get interviewed, so I was curious if the same applies for Australians.

Im not 100% sure, but i would have to guess the interview rate for australians is fairly low aswell.

I don't know, but it wouldn't suprise me if this was true. I know working with work permits, Aussie's have the easiest time obtaining them and renewing holiday visas, even more easily than England even though it's the head of the commonwealth! So this doesn't pertain to spousal sponsorship I know, but shows that the relations between the two countries are very good.

Being a member of the Commonwealth has zero impact on Canadian immigration policy. No preferential treatment. The likelihood of an interview depends on a number of things. First, how well prepared and thorough is your application? Does it take a logical, accurate approach through the development of the relationship to it's current state? Is there adequate proof included? (focus on quality over quantity). Another factor is "what is there to gain" by the applicant by obtaining immigration status to Canada. As with American, British, Australian, and other marriages to Canadians, for the most part our standards of living are parallel. Our societies also operate in similar fashions by way of organization and beaurocracy. When a visa officer looks at an application and sees that there is nothing to gain for the applicant by obtaining status in Canada OTHER THAN reuiniting with the sponsor, then they believe that in all likelihood, the relationship was not entered into to gain benefit of status in Canada. The question of genuineness and benefit are closely linked in this way and easily satisfied. That's not to say that an interview won't happen. It can and does, even for applicants from the countries mentioned. If your application is poorly prepared or you drew the short straw and get tagged for a quality assurance check (completely random), you will be interviewed.

We went through an Immigration Lawyer, Plenty of Evidence, Everything is legit and solid.
people on here will tell you different things left right and center lol
it is up to you to take in whichever info you want,
but the chance of you getting an interview, with the use of a lawyer and solid good quality evidence, is probabaly very slim.

Also they say being from commonwealth doesnt make it easier, which it doesnt, but if you put your application next to one with the same evidence say from a third world country or some places in africa the middle east etc. the person from another country would have a higher chance of getting an interview than you would being from australia, it doesnt make sense,, but thats just the way it is.

Anyways good luck!! im sure you wont need one!, :D
