What are my chances?

So I got a tourist visa denied for the US last year because I wasn't at my job long enough (2 months at that time) and also I presume because my boyfriend is american and I was honest about it =p. So we were considering going to Toronto on vacations together this year as it would be cheaper for him and we would have more spare money, and we really wanna go on vacations instead of him coming to Argentina again as usual.
So a little background info, I'm 23 years old, on 4th year of uni now (which is a free state uni) with excelent grades, I also have a part-time job at a school with a pretty good salary considering it's not full time, I've had this job for 1 year and a half now. All my family lives here, except for my uncle that lives in the US, no one in Canada. My mother would be sponsoring part of my trip, my parents own property here, we also rent an appartment where we live (but it's only in her name even though they considered my salary when we started renting it), she has a good salary and she's a school principal. I have a car and I'm in the process of buying a new one (it's like 84 instalments so that's gonna take a while).
So I'm wondering, do I have any chance of getting a visa for Canada? And since I don't have much experience with this, I was wondering, do I explain anywhere that I'm going with my american boyfriend? Because I see the forms only mention family that could be going with you. It'd be a visa for 14 days, since that's the leave I get from work. Does the denied us visa have any effect on this?

Hi there,

The car doesn't count for property. The fact you have no one in Canada and lots of family in Argentina will help. The fact your university is free is a wash. (It would help if it was paid university and you'd already paid for the next semester.) Your parent's property doesn't help you either - I wouldn't even mention it. The real estate has to be in your name. In fact, the only part your parents can help with at all is funds.

Ask your boss to write a letter giving you time off with a definite date to return to work. Hopefully you have no history of overstay with the US. You will need to declare your US visa and the US and Canada share information. Also include proof of a return ticket (buy refundable).

Other than your family, you have few ties. I don't have an opinion on your actual chances.... I've been wrong before anyway!

Include an itinerary for your two weeks as I've read "no compelling reason to visit Canada" as an excuse for refusal. Include proof of your employment (great idea to get boss to write you a letter) and proof of your excellent marks to show you are committed to your studies. Will you be returning to school after your holiday or are you finished after 4 years? Again, if you are enroled for the next term it would be a stronger position. As Amikety says, FREE education doesn't provide much in the way of ties on first glance, HOWEVER, I think you could use it to your advantage - you WILL return home to complete your free education - that is like money in the bank!

Well yeah, I still have a minimum of 2 more years of uni, so I'm definitely coming back after vacations, and I wouldn't be able to afford an education there so xD. I haven't traveled outside the country since I was a kid though, so that might be a problem, I'm not sure, so no overstays since last time I went to the US I was around 3 =p. Another question, what kind of itinerary should I print out? The concept confuses me.
Anyway, thanks for the opinions. I'm just worried that I'll get another refusal, I end up thinking I might as well save money for Europe where I don't need a visa xD

Itinerary = all the places you plan to visit, If you plan to stay in a hotel, include the reservation. If you will go on tours, include ticket/reservation; shows/events you plan to attend, etc. You should have adequate funds to do all these.
