Im 25 y/o. I live in portugal since 2008 but i born in cuba so i have cuban passport. I want to visit Canada because i have a few friends there, I met them in Portugal, they were doing an exchange student program in my university. Im planning to go in September and stay just for 15 days, i will stay in one of my friends house in toronto.
Currently i work as a physical therapist, Ive been working in the same company for 3 years now.
I live with my boyfriend but i do not own any property.
Both my parents live here
I travel 3 or 4 times per year (thats the way i prefer to spend my money)
Ive been in almost all Europe, and Africa as well.
Ive saved money to do this trip (currently 3.000 euros)

I dont think i have strong ties to my current country, so thats why im not feeling very optimitic.

Any chances?

not sure anyone can give a firm answer all you can do is apply and give as much proof as you can such as ties to portugal as you have residence there, fact you are employed, fact you will be buying a return ticket, proposed itinerary and maybe a note from your hosts in Canada.

Strangely process time if you were in Cuba is less than applying from Portugal but of course that could either be political or few people apply from Cuba. Of course who knows whether politically having a Cuban passport may be in your favour.
