Hi guys this is my timeline, I would like to share with you and please let me know what am I waiting for?

1. We received your application for permanent residence on September 20, 2018.
2. We sent you correspondence on January 15, 2019. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
3. We sent you medical instructions on January 17, 2019. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
4. Medical results have been received.

I already paid the second part of the application and I did my medical exams on 21st of January!

For them to finish processing your application. Background & security checks are the longest part.

None whatsoever. It's unique to application, officer, visa office, etc. 80% of applications are aimed to be completed in a target timeline of 12 months. Often times outland apps in particular run faster than this (inland apps are processed consistently at 11-12 months). Not uncommon for BGC check to take months, though.

We started our 10th month today and they have not started our BGC yet ! They have been processing eligibility for the past 6 months now ! I’m deeply concerned
Is it possible that they have started BGC without updating our Gckey account?!

We are at 9 months ,and the same as you , they have been reviewing eligibility since August 31st, we are Outland and haven’t even gotten medical request.....it’s very concerning

Oh I see !
So there is a possibility that they might have started the BGC without updating us via email or even through our account !! I would love to adopt this route as compared to other terrifying ideas that are floating in my head !

Probably is depend of how are you applying for ? I mean Express entry, sponsor etc, is there a probability to be interviewer in the airport once all your applications has been approved ?

Why don't you just call and speak to an agent to get a more precise update on what stage your application is in? That would definitely make me feel more secure if I was in your situation..

I have tried multiple times with no success! So I had to reach out to my MP who is waiting for their response as well ! I thought about ordering Gckey notes but still hoping that I might get an update any day any morning!
