Hi guys,

So this is my 4th ineligible submission for the Express Entry, it's getting frustrated. I've tried countless times, my score should be 69/70 out of 100. It should be enough to at least enter the pool. Let me give you my details:

37 yo, single, no kids, dual citizenship Italian/British, IELTS (2021) lis 8.5, rea 8.5, wri 6.5, spe 8. TEF Canada (2021) rea 246/300, lis 310/360, wri 310/450, spe 375/450 (basically all C1 except writing B2). WES certified Master's Degree in Screenwriting and Production from Westminster University, London. POF 16000 Canadian $.

Work experience NOC 0621 Retail and wholesale manager (I've got my employer letter ready) from jan 2010 to sept 2015. NOC 1221 Administrative officer from april 2017 to april 2019 (I don't have a letter stating my responsibilities and I might not be able to produce it in the future. I've only got a letter proving I worked there as a Facility Assistant/Office Services Coordinator, so I used my Retail Manager experience as my main job for EE purposes).
NOC 5125 Translator (part time from Nov. 2020).

I don't have a job offer from Canada, I've never lived there, never studied there, and I don't have relatives there.

I only entered my Masters, I didn't enter my full education history. Does it matter? I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I even thought about entering only my job experience from dec 2011 which is exactly 10 years from now.

Any help would be much appreciated!

PS: I entered the Arrima system for Quebec without any issue.

Maybe your primary NOC and the NOC you selected in work experience section are not matching?

Also try the CRS calculator to see if you are missing anything obvious.
I doubt I messed up the NOC 4 times :D. The CRS calculator gives me 444 points. But correct me if I'm wrong, the point system to just enter the pool is a 100 points rank (min 67 to enter) different from the the CRS?

Here's a breakdown of my results:

Core/Human capital factors
  • Age = 66
  • Level of education = 135
  • Official Languages = 143
    • First Official Language = 125
    • Second Official Language = 18
  • Canadian work experience = 0
Subtotal - Core/Human capital factors = 344
Spouse factors
  • Level of education = 0
  • First Official Languages = 0
  • Canadian work experience = 0
Subtotal - Spouse factors = 0
Skill transferability factors
Education (to a maximum of 50 points)
  • A) Official Language proficiency and education = 25
  • B) Canadian work experience and education = 0
Subtotal = 25
Foreign work experience (to a maximum of 50 points)
  • A) Official Language proficiency and foreign work experience = 25
  • B) Canadian and foreign work experience = 0
Subtotal = 25
Certificate of qualification = 0
Subtotal Skill transferability factors = 50

Additional points (to a maximum of 600 points)
Provincial nomination = 0
Job offer = 0
Study in Canada = 0
Sibling in Canada = 0
French-language skills = 50
Subtotal Additional points = 50
Comprehensive Ranking System formula grand total = 444

Yes, both are different. Tagging @scylla to help.

Btw, you are losing atleast 25 CRS points because you have missed CLB9 in both English and French, you need CLB9 in atleast one of them to get extra points. 444 has no chance to get ITA.

The short answer is that you either don't meet the minimum requirements to apply OR you've answered one or more questions incorrectly in your Express Entry profile. There's no issue with the tool itself, the issue is with one or more of your answers.

Start by making sure you have at least 67 points under the FSW system. You need to do the math to make 100% sure. If you don't have at least 67 points, that makes you automatically ineligible. The 67 points is a completely separate calculation. It is not CRS points. You can find the details here on how to calculate this: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers/six-selection-factors-federal-skilled-workers.html#education

Assuming you confirm you have 67 points under the FSW points system, then the issue is with one or more of your answers to the CRS questions.

If you have reviewed repeatedly and don't see the error, then you are at the point where you may have to post every single question here with your responses so that we can help you find the error.

For what it's worth, we have people come here regularly who have the same issue as you and eventually the incorrectly answered question is identified.

Guys, it went through!
I'm not sure what I had done wrong, I suppose I entered more than 5 years of experience at the beginning of the process, whereas my actual skilled experience was only 4 yrs in that specific NOC.

I wish I could give you more details, maybe to help others but I can't think of anything else right now... THANK YOU for your help and for taking the time to answer!
