Hi,

I have been in Canada more than 1+ year of exps on work permit visa. Initially I had submitted document and got medical request for work permit process.
I want to understand that how about medical process will work for CEC application. Is there any changes?

Kindly suggest your experience and idea to finish medical ASAP.

Thanks
D.

First of all, you need to have 2 years of experience in Canada in any of the listed NOC(National Occupational Classification) in order to be eligibile for PR. Please see below for more information.

Medicals is process which you need to undergo once the CIC asks you to. So, don't bother about medicals at this stage.

I didn't have to do a medical for my work permit, so I don't know if it's the same or different.

CIC will send you a request to do the medical exam, you don't need to do anythng until then. Medicals are valid only for one year, and the application process can take longer than that - if your medical expires you would have to repeat it.
