Still too high though. Take a relook at Transferability section just in case..JK546 said:Messed up !!
Will not be getting 24 points as I dont know french.
So probable score is around 510
I assumed a score for IELTS
I think you need to recheck your points calculated.. Use the below link to calculate it again..JK546 said:Messed up !!

Firstly, you cannot claim the remaining 600 points (job offer) unless you get a LMIA from the employer after Jan, 2015 (whether the job is LMO or ICT doesn't matter after Jan,15)fpaikar said:Same here guys my husband will have one year experience in January and we wanted to apply under CEC. We are getting around 502 points, his work also is LMO exempt and is full time but on contract.Even I am confused but it seems they will rank you within 600 points.
There are plenty of people on CEC eager to apply. I don't expect any of the 3 streams to be any easier than other.Makolutus said:Firstly, you cannot claim the remaining 600 points (job offer) unless you get a LMIA from the employer after Jan, 2015 (whether the job is LMO or ICT doesn't matter after Jan,15)
Secondly, keeping in mind.. under the CEC category, there will not be too much of competition, and if luck permits you might get a call in any of the draws if they don't find enough candidates with score > 600.
This is my personal opinion...
Thanks,

Doesn't matter. You need an approved LMIA if you want the 600 points.sivasagi said:Thanks. But, I am already working with a permanent offer?
How can it be permanent if you are on ICT.sivasagi said:Thanks. But, I am already working with a permanent offer?
If you just do a quick calculation based on the below sheetMaplemadness82 said:There are plenty of people on CEC eager to apply. I don't expect any of the 3 streams to be any easier than other.
Category may not play any role anymore. Its the points that are the deciding factor.Makolutus said:If you just do a quick calculation based on the below sheet

You will find that out of Total 80 applicants so far, Only 10 of them fall under CEC.. That comes to 1/8th of the Total Applicants.. (I accept this is not a good sample size)
But still if you do a simple extrapolation by 1000 (Total= 80000, CEC= 10000)
IMO The CEC Applicants figure can by no more than ~30000 applying next year i.e. 2015 and that too these CEC are further divided in their respective NOC category...

It seems ICT people also needs to register in Job bank with EE PROFILE NUMBER AND VALIDATION CODE. So waiting for that EE# and job seeker code.
Anyway, I am still curious to know why my overall score is low as 210. Please comment. :'(
Did you receive your EE# and validation code and have you registered with Job bank already ? I also have overall score 263 because i am still in the process of evaluating my degrees(ECA pending)
