Hi guys I went out today to get the 8 id photos (required on the 3901 form) of myself and the 8 of my common law spouse.

Thinking it would cost between 20 or 30 dollars Canadian total. I tried 3 different places and the prices quoted where between $80 - $120 total. So im online trying to find out where the cheapest place is. Im in Toronto by the way. Anyone have any suggestions?

Also was wondering does anyone know why they need so many?

Was ringing different photography outlets and still no change in pricing. Has anybody else done this or had to do this?

Try Costco, Walmart or some Asian malls (that would be the cheapest).

Are you sponsoring her?

If so then you only need 8 of her.

No she is sponsoring me. It says.

"Supply eight 8 recent photos for each member of your family and yourself. Follow the instructions in Appendix B: Photo Specifications."

What do you think?

The sponsor doesn't need photos.

As said above, try places like Walmart, Shoppers etc.

Have you tried any of the little photo places? I found them to be even cheaper than the big box stores.

This place is supposed to be cheap and good, 5 star yelp reviews

Passport Photo
327B Spadina Avenue

Chinatown, Kensington Market, Downtown

And this place has a coupon:

Also check out costco

Costco was by far the cheapest available option for me. $8 for each set of two photos vs. over $20 at Walmart.

I found a place called annex photos, $16 for the first set and $6 for each additional set. Thanks anyway everyone.
