I don't think I've heard of anyone doing it that way. Can you get a pre-paid Visa or Mastercard with the amount you need to pay WES?

Actually, I just checked the WES site and they state that they take Western Union but the instructions are provided during the payment process.

So I'd say you sign up with them and when it gets to payment, check what it says for the Western Union option. Good luck!

Hello All,

My name is Arif, and I am from Dhaka, Bangladeh.

I had applied for my ECA at WES on May 6, 2015 and received completed notification today on June 22, 2015.

I had applied to evaluate my Bachelor of Business Administration (4years) and Masters of Business Administration (1 year). The report I have downloaded from WES is currently showing "Bachelor Degree from a Non-recognized institution" under Canadian equivalency for my Bachelor degree. However, for my Master degree, the Canadian Equivalency is showing "Bachelor's degree (4years).

I understand that the University from which I had obtained my Bachelor degree is not recognized and I would not be able to claim points for it, but I am confused why my Master Degree's Canadian Equivalency is showing "Bachelor's Degree (4years)".

I would really appreciate if anyone could shade some lights on it.

It is saying your masters degree is the equivalent to a Canadian bachelor's degree.

In the eyes of WES/CIC you only hold a bachelor's qualification. The Masters degree you have is not good enough/same standard as a Canadian one would be.

I have also received the same today. For my 4-year BBA I have received 3-year Canadian Bachelor's equivalency and for dual major MBA (2.5 years) I have received Bachelor's degree (4 year) equivalency. Both my institutions are recognized. I am also confused and do not understand what's the problem.

Please help if anyone knows what went wrong here...

It's not a factor that you have done them from a recognised university. WES has looked at your modules and grades. They take into account the standard of the university and compare it to the quality of the qualifications expected and given to Canadians. This just means that you have only got the equivalent they have given you. Even if you study for 20years if they look at your subjects and where the degree is from, they may deem it the equivalent to a high school diploma. This is the whole reason you get your qualifications evaluated.

Now problem is that I have sent my documents WES and they give me reference number. When i open it shows "Pay my balance" its demand a credit card but during sign up process I just click on Western Union option for payment but now its require a credit card

Dear Sulman,

goto ibl(dot)globalpay(dot)westernunion(dot)com/geo-buyer/1000011168 (* replace (dot) with actual . ) and fill all the details correctly. after submitting all the details the system will tell you how to pay and what reference to use. After payment money is usually credited to your WES account within 3-5 business day.
