Can anyone share the link of where I can register for WES verification; one of the links that I have found one below

If this is the one then please confirm it. Also, I have requested my universities to send the sealed transcripts to me, but it seems that these transcripts are required to sent directly by the universities to WES. Is that the case so, please suggest.

There are two ways to handle the transcripts,


a) If you have already applied to the universities to send the transcripts to your address, no issues, just collect all of the required docs i.e

1. Transcripts in the sealed & stamped envelopes
2. Photocopies of your Degree

and send them to WES Canada in one large single envelope mentioning on top the WES Application Number received by you .

b) After Applying online to WES Canada and receiving the application number, ask the universities to directly send the transcripts to WES Canada with application number mentioned on top of the envelopes and You have to send the Degree Copies from your end to WES Canada.

I prefer the first option, saves the postage cost.

Write WES REFERENCE NUMBER on each of the envelope and if possible write it on each pages (with pencil)

Write it as>> WES Ref No: XXXXXX

Experience:

My friend applied for Bachelors, Masters evaluation on 11 Mar 2017.

Master transcripts accepted. Bachelor transcripts sent to university directly for verification.

University did not reply and the evaluation is on hold.

WES message, reply

"We are writing in regard to your application for credential evaluation to inform you that we have submitted your documents for verification to the institutions you attended. We will proceed with the evaluation upon receipt of their verification."

I met the University, The Registrar, and The Controller of Examination. They receive hundreds of requests from international institutions for verification.

They say how do you expect us to trace whether the verification is sent by courier, post, mails and why WES has not shared this info with applicant.

The Controller of Examination advised to take fresh transcripts, which will take at least 12 -15 days even in urgently required.

WES, If they have any question with the transcript , they should inform the applicant to submit the new transcripts. I think that they don't even have an idea about how the Universities/Govt. institutions work in India.
